Ceramic Cupwheel – 50 Grit

The 50 grit ceramic cupwheel is a high-performance transitional tool designed to replace traditional metal-bond cup wheels during surface preparation and edge work, prior to polishing. Engineered with a premium ceramic bond, it delivers fast and aggressive material removal while leaving a finer scratch pattern than metal tools—making it an excellent starting point in any polishing process.

Although it is less durable than metal-bond wheels, it offers greater control, with a reduced risk of gouging or surface damage. By limiting scratch depth, it allows users to skip intermediate metal steps and move directly to finer ceramic or resin grits. This results in significant time savings, while also extending the life of the polishing tools that follow—a faster and more cost-effective alternative to traditional grinding systems.

Ceramic Cupwheel – 100 Grit

The 100 grit ceramic cupwheel is a transitional tool designed for refining and honing concrete surfaces, especially after using a coarser tool such as a 50 grit ceramic or metal-bond cup wheel. Built with a high-quality ceramic bond, it ensures smooth, controlled grinding while effectively removing the scratch marks left by previous steps.

Less aggressive than lower-grit tools, the 100 grit ceramic plays a key role in polishing workflows by bridging the gap between coarse grinding and fine polishing. It leaves a uniform surface that’s ideal for transitioning to finer ceramic grits or resin polishing pads.

While its durability is lower than that of metal-bond wheels, it offers greater precision and control, which reduces the need for resin pad corrections and helps to streamline the overall polishing process.
